LocationAKRON, Ohio

Hiram's Petar Knezevic scored the game-winning goal in the 69th minute of play, breaking a 1-1 tie helping the Terriers to a 2-1 victory over the Big Red men's soccer team in Akron, Ohio.

The goal was the second of the night for Knezevic who netted the match's first goal in the 53rd minute.  DU would strike back in the 61st minute behind Len Mills' (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) fifth goal of the season.

That would be all the offense the Big Red could muster as their record dropped to 2-5-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.

Hiram took 10 shots compared to seven for the Big Red while DU attempted four corner kicks to the Terriers' two.  Denison will close out their 2008 campaign on Saturday (Nov. 1) when they travel to The College of Wooster for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
