Shorten is the 57th Academic All-America recipient from Denison and the first men's soccer player in the history of the program. |

Three Denison teams gear up for NCAC TournamentsThree Denison teams have qualified for the 2009 North Coast Athletic Conference postseason tournaments and Denison University will be the host for two of those semifinal match-up's. On Tuesday (Nov. 3) the top-seeded women's soccer team will host Earlham College at 7 p.m. at Barclay-Thomsen Field. On Wednesday (Nov. 4), the second-seeded men's soccer team will host Kenyon College at 7 p.m. at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium. Also on Wednesday, the field hockey team will travel to The College of Wooster for a 2 p.m. semifinal clash at John P. Papp Stadium. |
