Men's Soccer: Earlham Stops Big Red Men

Nothing seemed to work out right Tuesday afternoon for the Big Red as they suffered 5-0 loss to conference foe Earlham College.

The Quakers were paced by freshman Bannett Asingura who recorded four goals and an assist on the afternoon.Earlham senior Atiq Zamani also recorded two assists in the contest.

Earlham outshot Denison 15-14 but only fiveof the Big Red’s shots were on goal.Senior Greg Pecora (Chapel Hill, NC/Chapel Hill) led Denison with two shots on goal. Kevin Donahue (Riverside, CT/Greenwich) and Matt Brenn (Kent, OH/Roosevelt) split time in the net for the Big Red. Donahue recorded four saves while Brenn registered one.

The Big Red returns to action this Saturday (October 27) at Barclay-Thomsen Field versus Hiram College. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
