Men's Tennis: Big Red extends winning streak to six

Denison won their sixth straight match and improved to 7-2 overall following a 9-0 victory over Earlham College on Saturday in Granville.

Four players picked up their first singles victories of the season for the Big Red.  Freshmen Tom Caywood (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing), Elliot Conti (Wilmington, Ohio/Wilmington), Jack Adam (Kettering, Ohio/Miami Valley School) and Andrew Neville (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) all posted straight-set victories over the Quakers.  At No. 1 singles Jordan Buehler (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) handled Mike Von Vogt, 6-4, 6-2 and Jared Connolly (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park and River Forest) defeated Aaron Weeden, 6-1, 6-2.

Denison is ranked 27th in the country and is fifth in the central region.  Earlham drops to 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.  The Big Red will continue their NCAC West Division schedule on Tuesday when they travel to Wittenberg for a 4 p.m. match with the Tigers.
