Men's Tennis: DU rolls past UW-Eau Claire

Denison improved to 4-2 on the year and won their third consecutive match on Wednesday after an 8-1 victory over Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Hilton Head, S.C.

In doubles play Jared Connolly and Tim Martin won 8-4 in the third flight.  Tyler Cempre and Nate Hobrath took their match at second doubles, 8-5.  At No. 1 doubles James Davis and Jordan Buehler handled Steve Lantz and Phil Loprinzi, 8-4.

In singles play Buehler, Davis and Hobrath locked down the top-three flights with straight set wins.  Evan Verbofsky and Matt McErlean rounded out the team win with victories at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.

Denison will take on Hobart College on Thursday at noon in Hilton Head, S.C.
