Men's Tennis: Denison drops Hope to close out GLCA Tournament

After suffering a 5-3 loss to No. 28 Kalamazoo in the second round of the 2009 Great Lakes College Association men's tennis Championship on Friday night Denison bounced back with a 6-3 win over regionally ranked Hope College on Saturday.
In their win over Hope, Denison took four singles matches in flights three through six to lock up the win after heading into singles play with a 2-1 advantage. Nate Hobrath (Strongsville, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit), Tyler Cempre, Ean Verbofsky (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) and Tim Martin (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park & River Forest) were all winners for DU.
The 19th ranked Big Red improved to 10-3 on the season with the victory. Box scores from both matches this weekend are available below.
