Men's Tennis: Title clash with Kenyon set for Saturday

The Denison men's tennis team steamrolled through the opening two rounds of the 2009 North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament, setting up a clash with fellow top-seed, Kenyon College on Saturday at 11 a.m. Denison and Kenyon will be meeting for the championship for the fifth consecutive season.
Denison's road to the championship came via a 5-0 win over Oberlin in the first round and a 5-0 victory over Wabash College in the semifinals.
Against Wabash DU got singles wins from Tyler Cempre (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington) and Evan Verbofsky (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) to clinch the victory. The pair of wins improves the 23rd ranked Big Red's record to 16-4 overall. Click here for more NCAC Tournament information.
