Denison Shuts out Wabash in Men's Tennis

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind.-- The Denison University men's tennis team improved to 5-2 on the year with a 7-0 victory over North Coast Athletic Conference foe Wabash College, Saturday in Crawfordsville. In singles play, Denison received straight-set victories from Ethan Branum, Kevin Newman, Eric Messick, Nick Pellegrin, Charlie Poe and Noah Arenstein. In doubles action, Randy Lofgren teamed with Newman in the first flight, winning 8-1. Branum and Messick defeated Dan Petrie and Nathan Cain, 8-2 and the duo of Pellegrin and Poe took out Wabash's Dan Albrecht and Dan Carraway, 8-0. Denison will travel to Springfield for an NCAC clash with Wittenberg on Tuesday, April 5 at 4:30 p.m.
