Men's Tennis: Lofgren and Newman advance to NCAA Doubles Championship

The Denison senior men's tennis doubles team of Randy Lofgren and Kevin Newman has earned their third consecutive bid to compete in the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Doubles Championship on May 16-18 at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.

The 26th ranked Denison men's tennis team improved to 6-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference thanks to a 7-2 win over The College of Wooster on Monday afternoon. Denison swept doubles play and captured victories at No. 1, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles. Overall, the Big Red's record moved to 12-6.

Men's Tennis: Big Red men picked second overall in Preseason NCAC Tennis Poll

The Big Red men's tennis team was picked to finish second overall in this years NCAC Preseason Poll. Kenyon College, last year's conference champion, collected all eight first place votes and 72 points overall. The Lords were followed by Denison with 64 points overall. Wabash was picked third, followed by Allegheny, Wooster, Oberlin, Wittenberg, Ohio Wesleyan and Earlham.

Men's Tennis: Big Red downed by University of Chicago

The Big Red men's tennis team started off the spring season with some tough competition, with a match against the University of Chicago, on February 15. Denison's men entered the matched ranked #11 regionally while Chicago was ranked #13.
