Kenyon College captured their 10th North Coast Athletic Conference men's tennis championship on Saturday following a 5-2 victory over second-seeded Denison.

The Lords won two-of-3 doubles points and got three straight-set singles victories in flights one, four and six to reclaim the conference title. Denison, a 12-time conference champ, walked away with the crown in 2006.

In doubles play the nationally ranked duo of Randy Lofgren and Kevin Newman defeated Sean Stewart and Greg Sussman, 8-2. At second doubles, Jordan Buehler and James Davis fell to Kenyon's Robert Alef and William VandenBerg, 8-2. The third doubles match saw Daniel Becker and Charles Brody knock off Denison's Charlie Poe and Tom Hodgkiss-Lilly, 8-2.

In singles play, DU picked up a point thanks to Davis' 6-4, 6-1 win over VandenBerg in the second flight. Becker topped Buehler 6-2, 6-1 and Alef and Brody notched wins over Newman and Poe to set the final at 5-2.
