Men's Tennis: Big Red Falls to No. 7 Kenyon
Tom Hodgkiss-Lilly defeated Charles Brody in three sets on Wednesday.

Randy Lofgren (West Chester, Ohio/Princeton) and Kevin Newman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore) upset the region's third ranked doubles squad and Newman and Tom Hodgkiss-Lilly (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) captured victories in singles but it wasn't enough as Denison dropped a 6-3 loss to the seventh-ranked Kenyon Lords on Wednesday in Granville.
Hodgkiss-Lilly went three sets to defeat Kenyon's Charles Brody 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (6). Earlier in singles play Newman topped Jeremy Polster 6-4, 6-3 to account for Denison's two singles points.
The doubles win was significant in-region contest as Lofgren and Newman came into the match ranked fifth while Kenyon's Polster and Michael Greenberg were ranked third.
Kenyon improves to 17-1 on the year and remains perfect in NCAC play. Denison falls to 10-6 and drops to 4-1 in the league.
