Men's Tennis: Denison remains perfect in conference play

The Denison men's tennis team improved to 4-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 6-3 victory over Oberlin College on Monday afternoon.
Denison picked up singles victories from James Davis (Sylvania, Ohio/Toledo St. John's), who moved to 8-5 on the year after a 7-6, 6-4 win over David Midler. Randy Lofgren (West Chester, Ohio/Princeton) topped Thomas Page 6-2, 6-2 and Kevin Newman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore) defeated Ezra Goldman in three sets at No. 4 singles. In the fifth flight Tom Hoddkiss-Lilly (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) ran his record to 11-1 with a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
In doubles play, Lofgren and Newman won 8-1 and Jordan Buehler (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) and Davis handled their opponents 8-2.
Denison improves to 10-5 overall and will host fellow conference unbeaten and No. 7 ranked Kenyon College on Wednesday (April 16).
