Men's Tennis: Denison stops Allegheny
James Davis improved to 9-6 and captured his first win at No. 1 singles on Saturday.

The Denison men's tennis team rebounded from their lone North Coast Athletic Conference loss on Wednesday versus Kenyon with a 8-1 victory over previous conference unbeaten, Allegheny College.
DU knocked off the Gators 8-1 behind six singles victories and two doubles wins. James Davis (Sylvania, Ohio/St. John's) knocked off Matt Chiricosta 6-4, 7-6 at No. 1 singles and Randy Lofgren (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton) and Kevin Newman (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore) both went three sets to lock up victories at second and third singles.
Denison will close out their regular season on Monday when they host the College of Wooster at 4 p.m. Results from today's match can be viewed at the link below.
