Men's Tennis Rolls Past Oberlin

The Big Red men's tennis team were forced indoors on Monday night in Oberlin, Ohio but that didn't stop them from taking down the Yeomen 5-1 to pick up their ninth victory of the season.
Denison's Jordan Buehler knocked off Oberlin's David Midler 6-4, 6-2 in #2 singles play and James Davis defeated Arthur Zeyda, 6-2, 6-0 in third singles. At first singles Oberlin's Chris Pray squeaked out a victory over Denison's Randy Lofgren, 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).
In doubles play the Big Red swept all three matches as the nation's eighth ranked duo of Lofgren and Kevin Newman downed Pray and Colin Burling, 8-5. Buehler and Davis defeated Ezra Goldman and Midler and Tom Hodgkiss-Lilly and Charlie Poe topped Zeyda and Tom Page, 8-0.
Denison is 9-6 overall and 4-0 in NCAC play. They will travel to Gambier on Thursday for a clash with fellow conference unbeaten, Kenyon College at 4:30 p.m.
