Men's Tennis Tied for 5th in Central Region

Fila Collegiate Tennis Rankings for NCAA Division III were released April 16, 2007 showing the Denison men's tennis teamed ranked 5th tied with Kenyon College.

Individually, in the Central Region, junior Randy Lofgren (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton) is ranked 16th in singles play while teammate sophomore Jordan Buehler (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) is ranked 23rd with a 10-4 record.

The junior duo of Lofgren and Kevin Newman (Cincinnati, Ohio, Sycamore) are ranked 3rd in doubles play behind Bryan/Brauer of GAC (1) and Webeler/Swanson of DePauw (2). Lofgren/Newman have a record of 10-4 overall and 4-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.

The Big Red return to action today as they travel to Kenyon for a 4:30 p.m. match.
