Men's Tennis: Big Red Rallies for win over Bloomsburg

The Denison men's tennis team trailed Division II Bloomsburg 3-0 after doubles but stormed back by winning five out of six singles matches to complete the improbable 5-4 victory on Monday in Hilton Head, S.C.

DU got singles wins from James Davis, Randy Lofgren, Kevin Newman and Tom Hodgkiss-Lilly. In the sixth spot the match was decided by freshman Evan Verbofsky topped his opponent 6-3, 6-4 to win the match. Denison is 2-1 and will take on Dickinson on Wednesday (March 12) in Hilton Head.
