May 11, 2008Softball: Big Red is the runner-up at NCAA Regional Tourney Muskingum College defeated Denison 3-2 in the second NCAA Regional Championship game of the day from Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J. The win sends the Muskies to their eighth NCAA Division III World Series while the Big Red's season comes to a close with a 28-12 record. |
May 10, 2008Softball: Denison advances to NCAA Regional Championship game The Denison Big Red improved to 3-0 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Regional Championship game on Saturday after a pair of victories over the No. 2 seeded Mount Union Purple Raiders and top-seeded Muskingum. In the opener DU blanked Mount Union 5-0 and rallied for a 3-2 win over the Muskies in the nightcap. |
