Soccer: Academic All-Ohio teams announced

Four Big Red women's players and two men were named to the 2009 OCSA Academic All-Ohio teams. Seniors Sarah Ash (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore), Molly Ruano (South Euclid, Ohio/Brush) and David Folt (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) are joined by sophomore Kim Oshita (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore) with first team honors.
Ash is a member of Psi Chi, the national Psychology honor society and is a fellow in the Psychology Department. Ruano is an officer of Mortar Board, the national college senior honorary society, while Folt is member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the pre-health honor society.
Juniors Anna Rusch (Washington, D.C./Sidwell Friends) and Peter Shorten (Hudson, Ohio/Western Reserve) were named to the second team squads after stellar seasons on the field and in the classroom.
The Big Red men finished the season 6-8-3 overall and seventh in the league while the women's team finished at 15-5-1 and first in the NCAC.
