Women's Basketball: Big Red clinch NCAC title with win over OberlinThe Denison Big Red clinched their second regular season NCAC Championship on Saturday night following a 82-47 victory over Oberlin College on Senior Night from Livingston Gymnasium. The victory runs Denison's winning streak to 12-games and improves their record to 13-0 in conference play. |
Denison will host the 2009 NCAC Women's Basketball Championship on Feb. 27-28.
On Friday DU will take on Ohio Wesleyan at 8 p.m. and Kenyon will face Allegheny at 6 p.m. with the winners of each game advancing to Saturday's championship at 7 p.m.

Pink-Zone Pack the Gym Night is Feb. 11
The Denison women's basketball team is hosting a Pink Zone "Pack the Gym" Night on Wed., (Feb. 11) at 7:30 p.m. to promote breast cancer awareness.
The first 100 students to arrive at Livingston Gym will receive a free "Pink Zone" t-shirt. A limited amount of additional shirts will be available for sale. All other fans in attendance are encouraged to wear pink to show their support. A donation box will be available at the entrance, with all money going to the Kay Yow/ WBCA Cancer Fund.
