Women's Cross Country: Denison Fall Classic Results

Denison freshman Brooke Boening started off her running career at DU in fine fashion, winning the four-team Denison Fall Classic with a time of 15:15. Boening outdistanced second-place Suzanne Capehart of Wooster by 24 seconds.
Third-place went to sophomore Kelsey Pence who crossed the finish line in 15:47. Four other DU runners were packed into the top-10. Freshman Kirby Mosenthal took sixth with a time of 16:49. Ashley Putnam was seventh in 16:53 while Katie Navarre and Brittany Cerankosky locked up ninth and 10th place, respectively.
Also turning in strong performances for Denison was Kelly McCallin in 20th, Holly Christian in 23rd and Julie Rotramel who placed 30th.
Denison will compete at the GLCA Championships next weekend at Kenyon.
