Women's Cross Country: Big Red finishes fourth at GLCA Championship

The Denison women's cross country squad posted a fourth place finish at the Great Lakes College Association Championshipon Saturday at Oberlin College.

Sophomore Katie Navarre (Upper Arlington, Ohio/Upper Arlington) took fourth to pace the Big Red, while junior Kelsey Pence (Columbus, Ind./Columbus North) finished the race in 23rd. Navarre logged a time of 19:00 and Pence finished in 20:19.

Sophomore Ashley Putnam (North East, Pa./North East) was 27th, freshman Victoria Pottieger (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) took 31st and sophomore Kirby Mosenthal (Briarcliff, N.Y./Irvington) fininshed 33rd in the 105 person field. Putnam finished in a time of 20:27, while Pottieger and Mosenthal notched times of 20:35 and 20:41, respectively.

Denison will travel to the Calvin Invitational next Saturday (Sept. 20).
