Women's Cross Country: Results from Kenyon Tri-Meet

The Denison women's cross country team kicked off the 2009 season on Tuesday evening at an unscored triangular with Ohio Wesleyan University hosted by Kenyon College.

Junior Katie Navarre (Upper Arlington, Ohio/Upper Arlington) paced the Big Red with a third-place finish.  Navarre finished the event in 15:35.  Ohio Wesleyan's Sarah Shinn won the race with a mark of 15:25, while Kenyon's Morgan O'Connor finished second at 15:31.

DU returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 12 when they take part in the Great Lakes Colleges Association Championship hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.  Race time is scheduled for 10 a.m.
