Women's Cross Country: Boening Competes in First NCAA Championship

Denison freshman Brooke Boening (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Jefferson) represented Denison University in the 2007 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship on Saturday in Northfield, Minn.
The rookie, who qualified for the championship by placing 16th at last week's NCAA Great Lakes Regional, posted a time of 23:01 which landed her 104th out of 280 runners. The individual winner was Sarah Zerzan of Willamette who logged a time of 20:54. The team championship went to Amherst College.
