Women's Cross Country: Denison turns in 6th place finish at All-Ohio
Kirby Mosenthal and Ashley Putnam were two of three freshman to score for the Big Red on Friday.

The Denison women's cross country team turned in a strong showing at the annual All-Ohio Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Friday afternoon.
The Big Red placed sixth out of 22 NCAA Division III schools and were led by freshman Brooke Boening's 9th place finish. The rookie turned in a time of 20:13.5 which was good for 54th overall out of 296 runners. Boening was followed by sophomore Kelsey Pence who took 20th in the D-III standings with a time of 20:43.9. Freshmen Kirby Mosenthal and Ashley Putnam followed in 29th and 37th place, respectively. Mosenthal logged a time of 21:01.2 and Putnam turned in a time of 21:17.4. Senior Brittany Cerankosky rounded out the scorers for DU with a time of 21:40.6.
