Field Hockey: Big Red Picks Up Win Versus Earlham
Caitlin Gilman scored two goals in Denison's 6-1 victory over Earlham on Saturday.

The Denison Big Red Field Hockey team improved to 4-6
overall, and 3-1 in the NCAC today as they beat visiting Earlham 6-1 at Deeds
Field-Piper Stadium.
Sophomore Lauren Keny
(Bexley, Ohio/Col. School for Girls) got the scoring started
off quickly with a goal 46 seconds into the game, assisted from Read Powel (Shaker Heights, Ohio/Hathaway
Brown).
Caitlin Gilman(Birmingham, Mich./Detroit Country Day) scored the next two goals in the first half, the first
one was assisted Brittany Paquette (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich./Univ. Liggett).
The DU defense fought off several penalty corners in the
middle of the first half, and Allison
Sullivan (Wellesley, Mass. /Newton Country Day) scored the last
goal of the first half as Paquette picked up her second assist of the day.
Emily Marshall (Louisville, Ky. /DuPont
Manual) and Molly McCue(Gibsonia, Pa.Aquinas Academy) scored the Big Red's final two
goals.
Earlham fell to 1-7 overall, and 0-7 in the NCAC. Denison will host Kenyon College this Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
