The Denison women's golf team fired a 394 en route to a fourth-place finish at the Muskingum College Spring Invitational at Jaycees Golf Course on Monday in Zanseville, Ohio.

Junior Allie DeFries (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) carded an 84 (40-44) to finish tied for second in the 38-person field. Sophomore Chelsea Lee's (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) career-low round 97 (49-48) also aided DU's push into the top five. Rounding out the Big Red scoring were juniors Megan Fleming (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) and Emily Stimpert (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington). Fleming turned in a 103 while Stimpert shot a 110.
