Women's Golf: Denison finishes eighth at Auld Crafters Kisor Classic

The Denison women's golf team closed out their fall schedule with an eighth-place finish at the Auld Crafters Kisor Classic hosted by Ohio Dominican University. Junior Megan Fleming (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) finished tied for 16th to pace the Big Red.

Fleming fired a 178 (91-87) at the two-day event. Her day two score of 87 was just three strokes shy of her career low which was set back in 2006 at Majestic Springs Golf Course.

Sophomore Chelsea Lee (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest), juniors Allie DeFries (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) and  Emily Stimpert (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington), and sophomore Lauren Sabo (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Kenston) all finished no more then two strokes of each other to round out the DU scoring.
