Women's Golf: Big Red place seventh at Walsh Invitational

Denison women's golf took seventh of ten teams at the Walsh University Fall Classic in Canton, Ohio on Monday and Tuesday.

Senior Megan Fleming (Marietta, Ohio/ Marietta) led the way for the Big Red, shooting a 92 on Monday and a 94 on Tuesday to place 27th overall in the field of 59. Kara Ferguson (Cincinnati, Ohio/ Indian Hills) put up rounds of 99 and 95 to take 34th, followed by Elayna Nowak (Avon, Ohio/ Avon) who tied for 36th with scores of 96 and 100. 

Denison shot a first day score of 387 and second day score of 386 to finish seventh in the event.

The Big Red will return to play Sunday, September 20, at the Hiram Invitational.
