Denison senior Megan Fleming (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) carded an opening round 92, helping land the Big Red women's golf team into sixth place after the first day of competition at the Walsh University Invitational played at The Sanctuary.

The Big Red totaled 387 strokes in the first round and sit in sixth place out of the 10-team field.  They will close out the tournament with 18 holes on Tuesday.
