Women's Golf: Capital Purple & White Invitational Results

Location: LOCKBOURNE, Ohio

The Denison women's golf team opened their spring season at the Capital University Purple & White Invitational at Foxfire Golf Club in Lockbourne, Ohio.

Denison finished in 17th place with a two-day score of 981.  They were led by Sarah Grannemann (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) who fired a second-day 97 to pace the Big Red.  Kathleen Slavish (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) followed with a 119 and Chelsea Lee (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) was third on Saturday with a 125.   

DU will compete in the Mount Union Invitational on Wednesday (April 9) at Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, Ohio.
