Women's Golf: Denison places 10th at Wittenberg Invitational

The Denison women's golf team placed 10th out of 15 teams on Tuesday at the Wittenberg Invitational played at Windy Knoll Golf Course.
Megan Fleming paced DU with a 46 on the front nine and a 49 on the back for a 95. Allie DeFries also broke triple digits with her 99. The Denison team finished with a four-golfer total of 403 which landed them five shots behind ninth place Walsh University.
Denison will host their first tournament on Wednesday at Granville Golf Course. Teams from Wilmington, Baldwin-Wallace, Muskingum, Wittenberg and Ohio Northern will compete. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
