Women's Golf: Results from Ohio Northern Invitational

The Denison women's golf team turned in their best performance of the spring with an 11th place finish at the 12-team Lady Polar Bear Invitational from Colonial Golfers Club in Lima, Ohio.

Allie DeFries (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) led Denison with a 98.  Megan Fleming (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) posted a 102 and Kathleen Slavish (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) followed with a 106.  Freshman Chelsea Lee (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) rounded out Denison's scoring with a 115.

Denison will host their first tournament since becoming a varsity program on Wednesday (April 16) at Granville Golf Course.
