Hammeren Named NCAC Athlete of the Week

Denison freshman Emily Hammeren (Olmsted Falls, Ohio/Olmsted Falls) receives North Coast Athletic Conference athlete of the week honors after competing in the pole vault at the Greater Columbus meet last Saturday, held at Kenyon.
Hammeren's vault of 9 feet, 6 inches was not only a career best jump for her, it is also the fourth best vault in Denison's history.
The Denison men's and women's track team will compete in the NCAC Last Chance meet this Friday, February 23 to prepare for the NCAC Championships which will be held in Denison's Mitchell Center Field house March 2 and 3.
