Women's "Last Chance" Indoor Track & Field Results

Senior Elaine Binkley took home first place in the 3,000 meters by running a time of 10:37.29, finishing 15 seconds in front of second-place Catie Coleman from Ohio Wesleyan. Freshman Emily Hameren won the pole vault by clearing 10' and Emily Taylor and Amanda Conley took first place in the shot put and 55 meter dash, respectively.
Taylor edged teammate Emily Handelman in the shot with a throw of 34'10.5" while Conley sprinted to a winning time of 7.80 seconds.
Rounding out the finishers for DU was Jessica West who took second in the 200 meters in 28.45 seconds and Sarah Anderson who placed third in the 400 meters.
Denison will compete next Friday and Saturday in the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships.
