Women's Lacrosse: Colorado College hands Big Red their first loss

The Big Red made a second half push but a seven-goal streak by Colorado College that started late in the first half and lasted until mid-way through the second half was enough to stop Denison, 10-7 on Wednesday. The Big Red will return home from their spring break trip with a 2-1 record.
Denison got two goals each from Cassedy O'Neill, Alex Thurner and Phoebe Myhrum. Sara Langsam also added her seventh goal of the year for the Big Red.
Colorado College's Alexa Dougherty led the Tigers with four goals. They outshot DU 29-24 and finished with 18 ground balls to Denison's 14. Senior goalie Amanda Wilson posted eight saves for Denison. CC's Jess Van Doren stopped 11 shots in 60 minutes of action.
