Women's Lacrosse: Big Red suffers loss to Notre Dame College

Notre Dame College went on a 6-0 run that spanned 30 minutes and would propel the Falcons to a 9-3 victory over the Denison Big Red on Saturday from Lyndhurst, Ohio.
Denison got two goals from Jenny Strathern (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington) and one goal from Alex Thurner (Cincinnati, Ohio/Summit Country Day) but Notre Dame outshot the Big Red 33-21 and forced DU into 29 turnovers. Molly Merrill scored three goals to lead Notre Dame. Goalie Ally Phillips posted nine saves.
DU was led defensivley by Bethany Keller's (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington) three ground balls. Amanda Wilson (Hudson, Ohio/Western Reserve) posted 12 saves in 60 minutes played.
