Women's Lacrosse: Second half run sends RIT past DU
Lindsay Howard scored three goals to lead Denison vs. RIT.

Denison took a 6-2 lead into the intermission but Rochester Institute charged back in the second half with seven goals including three unanswered to close out the game and a 9-8 victory on Thursday night at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium.
RIT's Jessica Cotton scored the game-winning goal with 5:26 left in the contest. Denison's Haley Stineman (Darien, Conn./Darien) had a potential game-tying free position attempt shot saved by RIT goalie Kelsey Evans with just 10 seconds left in regulation to close out the win.
Denison was led in scoring by Lindsay Howard's (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) three goals off three shots. Quinn Simmons (Medina, Ohio/Medina) and Sara Langsam (Philadelphia, Pa./Friends) both finished with two goals and Meg Wilcox (Sewickly, Pa./Quaker Valley) had two assists.
RIT outshot Denison 29-25 and won 13 of 19 draw controls. Jessica Cotton paced RIT with three goals.
The Big Red will resume play on Sunday (March 9) when they take on Whittier College at 5 p.m. in Whittier, Calif.
