Binkley Named NCAC Runner of the Week

Granville, OH--Just one of two Division III runners in the 10,000 meters at the Raleigh (N.C.) Relays, Denison junior Elaine Binkley (Columbus, Ohio/Watterson) ran her way to a seventh-place finish with a time of 37:15.83; her performance earning her North Coast Athletic Conference runner of the week honors. Binkley, running amongst a majority of athletes from Division I and II colleges and universities, met the NCAA Provisional Qualifying standard for the Division III national track & field championships. The men and women's outdoor track & field teams will travel north for the Wooster Invitational on April 1.
