Ashley Putnam placed fifth in the 800 meter run on Saturday at Kenyon.

The Denison women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Kenyon Spring Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Denison was led by junior Amanda Conley (Dublin, Ohio/Columbus Academy) who placed sixth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.57.  Freshman Ashley Putnam (North East, Pa./North East) turned in a fifth place finish in the 800 meters in 2:22.72.  

Claire Navarro (Seal Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) would go on to place ninth in the 200 meter dash and 10th in the long jump while freshman Emily Taylor (Columbus, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) rounded out the Big Red's top-10 finishes with a throw of 34'6.75" in the women's shot put.
