Sophomore Jen Clemmer (Hixson, Tenn./Baylor School) earned North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week accolades following her four-point performance that lifted the 12th ranked Denison women's soccer team to a 3-2 overtime victory over conference rival Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday (Oct. 25).
Clemmer assisted on two goals and scored the game winner in OT to keep the Big Red's undefeated NCAC record intact and improve their winning streak to nine games. DU also defeated Kenyon College earlier in the week. The sophomore's 14 points (4 goals, 6 assists) ranks her fourth on the squad in scoring while her three game-winning goals is tied for the team best.
Denison (13-2-1) will play their final two games of the regular season at Barclay-Thomsen Field. The Big Red hosts regionally ranked Wittenberg University on Wednesday (Oct. 29) at 7 p.m. and follows that up by welcoming Wooster for the season finale on Saturday at 1 p.m. Both matches will be aired on the Denison Sports Network powered by TEAMLINE.
