Women's Soccer: No. 19 Denison to host NCAC Tournament semifinal

Denison is the No. 1 seed in the 2008 NCAC Women's Soccer Championship Tournament. They will host No. 4 seed, Wooster on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The top-seeded Denison women's soccer team will host the fourth-seeded College of Wooster Fighting Scots for a semifinal match in the 2008 North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament at Barclay-Thomsen Field.

The 19th-ranked Big Red earned the top seed in the tournament by winning the NCAC regular season title after edging league rival Wittenberg 2-1 on Oct. 29 in Granville. The conference crown was the program's seventh overall and first since 2005. The match is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Tickets will be sold at the field. Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children/students/faculty/staff with college ID. NCAC passes are valid for the event. College of Wooster fans will be directed to seating on the south side of the field and Denison fans will be directed to seating on the press box side of the field.
