Women's Soccer: Quakers score late to edge No. 14 Big Red
Earlham College made their first-ever appearance in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament a memorable one as Joy Doucette's goal in the 85th minute sent the Quakers to a 1-0 victory over the top-seeded and 14th-ranked Denison Big Red on Wednesday night at Barclay-Thomsen Field in Granville, Ohio.

Three Denison teams gear up for NCAC Tournaments
Three Denison teams have qualified for the 2009 North Coast Athletic Conference postseason tournaments and Denison University will be the host for two of those semifinal match-up's. On Tuesday (Nov. 3) the top-seeded women's soccer team will host Earlham College at 7 p.m. at Barclay-Thomsen Field. On Wednesday (Nov. 4), the second-seeded men's soccer team will host Kenyon College at 7 p.m. at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium. Also on Wednesday, the field hockey team will travel to The College of Wooster for a 2 p.m. semifinal clash at John P. Papp Stadium.

Women's Soccer: Oshita, Rusch named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District
Denison women's soccer Kimmi Oshita and Anna Rusch were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV Team. Oshita was a first-team selection while Rusch received second-team honors. By being named to the first team Oshita advances to the national ballot with hopes of being awarded Academic All-American honors.

Women's Soccer: Big Red goes unbeaten in NCAC after win over Wooster
The Denison Big Red captured their second consecutive and eighth overall North Coast Athletic Conference Championship following a 3-1 victory over The College of Wooster on Saturday afternoon in Wooster, Ohio. The Big Red improved their record to 15-2-2 overall and closed their regular season with a 7-0-1 record in conference play.

Women's Soccer: Wittenberg plays Denison to scoreless tie
Courtney Cobb registered her 13th shutout and the Denison team tied the school's single-season shutout record after the 12th ranked Denison Big Red played Wittenberg to a 0-0 tie over 110 minutes of soccer from Springfield, Ohio.

Women's Soccer: Second-half surge sends No. 17 Denison past OWU
One week ago the 17th-ranked Denison women's soccer team erupted for five first-half goals en route to a victory over then ranked Thomas More College. Just seven days later, on the same field, the Big Red had a repeat performance when they scored five goals in the second half as they shutout rival Ohio Wesleyan 5-0.

Women's Soccer: No. 17 DU blanks Kenyon for ninth straight win
A first-half goal by junior Jen Clemmer was all the 17th-ranked Denison women's soccer team needed to edge North Coast Athletic Conference rival Kenyon College on Wednesday night at Barclay-Thomsen Field. The Big Red edged the Ladies 1-0 en route to their ninth-straight victory.

Women's Soccer: Explosive first half propels No. 20 DU past No. 25 Thomas More
The 20th-ranked Denison women's soccer team exploded for five first-half goals over a 19 minute span en route to a 5-0 Senior Day victory over previously undefeated and 25th-ranked Thomas More College on a wet and cold Saturday afternoon at Barclay-Thomsen Field.

Women's Soccer: No. 20 Denison wins seventh straight at Earlham
The 20th-ranked Denison women's soccer team extended their current winning streak to seven games following a 2-0 victory over Earlham College in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Wednesday from Richmond, Ind. The win improved the Big Red's record to 11-2-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

Denison junior Jen Clemmer was named North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week in women's soccer after an eight-point performance that helped the 22nd-ranked Big Red go 2-0 in conference action last week.

Led by some text book offensive soccer and a stingy Denison back line, the 22nd ranked Big Red cruised to a 3-0 victory over Allegheny College on Saturday afternoon from Barclay-Thomsen Field in Granville, Ohio.

Women's Soccer: DU remains undefeated in NCAC play with victory at Oberlin
Junior Kimmi Oshita tallied three of Denison's four second-half goals in a 5-1 victory over Oberlin College in North Coast Athletic Conference action on Wednesday night from Oberlin, Ohio. The win is the Big Red's fifth in a row as they improve to 9-2-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

The Denison women's soccer team will host Earlham on Tuesday (Nov. 3) at 7 p.m. at Barclay-Thomsen Field. Ticket prices are $7 for adults at $3 for children and students.
