Women's Soccer: Denison and OWU play to 0-0, tie
Senior Liz Gillette recorded five saves in goal in a 0-0 tie Saturday.

In a very physical game, Denison and Ohio Wesleyan played 110 minutes of scoreless soccer on Saturday night at Barclay Thomsen Field in Granville. It marked the second time in the past seven days the Big Red women's soccer team has logged a scoreless tie. The same result occurred last Saturday against Allegheny.
Denison attempted twelve shots with five of them going on-goal while Ohio Wesleyan got off eight shots with five resulting in Liz Gillette (Chardon, Ohio/NDCL) saves. DU was led in the shot category by Anna Rusch (Washington, D.C./Sidwell Friends) with three, two of them on goal.
The two teams combined for 24 fouls and five cards in a very tough, physical match.
Denison is now 3-1-2 in NCAC play, tied with the Bishops. They return to conference action Wednesday as they travel to Richmond, Ind. to face the Quakers of Earlham College at 4:30 p.m.
