Softball: Krolikowski earns NCAC Hitter of the Week honors

Coming off a solid offensive performance last week, senior center fielder Mary Beth Krolikowski (Brunswick, Ohio/Holy Name) received North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week recognition for the first time in her career.
The senior outfielder was 11-for-20 (.550) with two home runs, two doubles a triple, eight RBIs and eight runs scored. Krolikowski also compiled a 1.050 slugging percentage and a .550 on-base percentage. In game two against Case Western Reserve University, Krolikowski was just a single away from hitting for her first career cycle.
Heading into this week the Brunswick, Ohio native leads the conference in hits, plate appearances and at bats, ranks second in runs scored and triples and is fourth in the league in total bases.
Denison is 19-12 overall and leads the NCAC with a 9-1 conference record. The Big Red close out conference play this week with a pair of key doubleheaders. DU opens the week hosting rival Ohio Wesleyan University on Thursday at 3 p.m. and closes out league play at Hiram College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
