The Denison University softball program will be hosting the 2009 Holiday Hitting Clinic on Sunday, December 6th at the Mitchell Athletic Center on the campus of Denison University.

The camp will be divided into two sessions. The first session is designed for athletes ages 9-12 who are seeking development on the mechanics of hitting, bunting and slapping. This session will run from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Session two is designed for athletes ages 13-18 who are seeking focus on the mechanics of hitting. The second session will run from 3:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. and will cover advanced areas such as fundamentals of hitting different pitches, the mental side of hitting and will show the participants drills to improve their hitting.

Head Coach Tiffany Ozbun and assistant coach Scott Pohlman will lead the instruction of the Hitting Clinic.  Members of the 2010 Denison Softball Team will also be assisting in the instruction.

The cost is $55 for session one and $65 for session two.  All participants will receive a Denison Softball Holiday Hitting Clinic t-shirt.
