Women's Softball

The Denison University softball program will host two winter skills clinics on January 20, 2008 at the Mitchell Center on the campus of Denison University.  Head coach Tiffany Ozbun and assistant coach Lynsey Pyle, along with the 2008 Denison softball team, will offer instruction in two separate, half-day clinics.

Clinic participants ranging in age from 9-18 will receive hands on instruction as they rotate through multiple offensive and defensive stations.  Each station is designed to improve each aspect of their game.   The morning session is designed for more advanced players ranging in age from 13-18.  The afternoon session is designed for the younger player (ages 9-12) seeking basic fundamental development.  Each participant will be given top notch instruction in the areas of hitting, fielding (instruction will be position specific) and base running.  Pitching and catching will also be included in defensive stations.  All participants will also receive a 2008 Denison softball winter clinic t-shirt.
