On the second-team, Bornschein earned his first NCAC crown in the 1-meter dive this season en route to being named NCAC Male Diver of the Year.  Since 2005 Bornschein logged seven, top-3 finishes at the NCAC Championship meet helping lead the Denison men's swimming and diving squad to the 2008-09 NCAC title.  The biology major is a member of Pi Mu Epsilon, the National Mathematics Honorary.

On the lacrosse field, Burton led the Big Red in goals scored (53) for the third straight season.  The biology major also dished off eight assists and scooped up 21 ground balls to help lead Denison to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals for the 11th time in .  He scored his 100th career goal on Feb. 23 against Trine and after three seasons in Granville, Burton will enter his season season with 152 career goals scored.
