Women's Swimming & Diving: Denison cruises past Wittenberg

The Denison women's swimming and diving squad returned to Gregory Pool and defeated Wittenberg University, 181-108 on Friday night in Granville.
Senior sprint freestyler Kristen Hohl won the 100 and 50 freestyle's and also swam on the Big Red's 200 medley relay and 800 free relay squads. In the 100 free she touched with a time of 52.85 seconds and in the 50 she covered two lenghths of the pool in 24.40 seconds.
Junior Kate Rich won the women's 100 butterfly with a time of 58.58 and sophomore Ksenia Golovkina took the top spot in the 50 and 100 breaststrokes.
Senior Annamarie Novinger was the winner in the 1000 freestyle and Hilary Callen turned in a strong performance in the 200 free with a winning time of 1:56.33. Other winners for DU included Emily Schroeder in the 50 backstroke and Olivia Zaleski in the 100 backstroke.
In the one meter dive Brett Balling took first place with a score of 218.15. She also won the three-meter dive with a score of 204.85.
