Women's Tennis: Gators no match for No.8 Big Red

The No. 8 ranked Denison women's tennis team won their 10th match of the 2009 season on Saturday, a 9-0 decision over Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa.

Kate Westenberger improved to 5-0 with her singles victory and Sarah Short won her fourth match of the year to lead the Big Red.

Denison is 10-6 overall and is finished with their North Coast Athletic Conference West Division schedule at 3-0.  They will host The College of Wooster on Monday (April 20) before opening play at the 2009 NCAC Tournament next Friday (April 23) in Gambier, Ohio.
