DePauw is coming off a 5-4 loss to Sewanee in the finals of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament but has won nine out of their last 10 matches with seven of those coming against regionally ranked opponents. The Tigers are led by the region's top-ranked singles player, Liz Bondi.
Albion is back in the NCAA tournament after capturing the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association championship. They are currently ranked 27th in the latest Division III national poll. Their opponent, Baldwin-Wallace is the champion of the Ohio Athletic Conference and has dropped only two matches this season, against Kenyon and NAIA opponent, Walsh University.
Manchester College has won 16 matches in 2007 and received an automatic bid by winning the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Their opponent, Carnegie Mellon, fell to the nation's ninth ranked team, Emory, in the finals of the University Athletic Association finals but is currently ranked 18th in Division III.
